Cataract Treatment
Cataract treatment with TECNIS™ intraocular lenses (IOLs) is a once in a lifetime opportunity to improve your vision and your quality of life.

Are You Ready to See Better?
After you’ve consulted with your ophthalmologist about cataract surgery, you will need to make several important decisions about treatment.
Having an understanding about the procedure, as well as the types of lens replacement options available, will help you make an informed decision. Depending on any eye conditions you may have, there are different lenses available to address these issues.
Common Vision Conditions
Your Lens Choice Matters
Different IOL technologies offer different visual expectations after surgery. Your eye care professional will talk about your vision at three points: intermediate, distance, and near.

Monofocal Lenses
Monofocal lenses provide clear vision at one main distance, usually for distance. Reading glasses will likely be needed for intermediate and near vision. Monofocal IOLs are also available in a toric version for astigmatism correction.
TECNIS Eyhance™ IOL

TECNIS Eyhance™ is a lens that provides distance image quality vision and enhanced image contrast even in low light.4 You may still need glasses to see objects that are close to you like your cell phone.5
TECNIS Eyhance™ TORIC II IOL provides the ability to clearly see images at a distance while allowing you to simultaneously address astigmatism at the time of cataract surgery.
Benefits of TECNIS Eyhance™ IOL
Distance image quality
Helps you see objects in the distance like traffic lights, sporting events, and stage performances2
Enhanced image contrast
May increase safety in low-light situations such as driving at night1
See images clearly
Designed for high quality distance to make everyday tasks easier1
Presbyopia-Correcting Lenses
Presbyopia-Correcting Ienses use advanced technology to correct for cataracts and presbyopia, minimizing your need for glasses.
These lenses can help you see at multiple distances and are also available in a toric version for astigmatism correction.
Results may vary. Consult your doctor to determine the lens options that are right for you.
